Imam Khomeini, the leader of contemporary Muslim world used to invite Muslim nations to form a united front in order to foil plots woven by the Israeli regime against them.
Imam also exposed the Israeli occupation agenda in the region and exposed crimes of Tel Aviv regime against Palestinian people.
The issue of Quds is not a private or personal issue, Imam Khomeini explained
“The issue of Quds is not a private or personal issue. It is neither the exclusive problem of one country nor a present-day problem of all Muslims. Rather, it is a phenomenon concerning the monotheists and faithful people of all ages-past, present and future. "
Imam on historic occasions also said as following:
“Do not the authorities of the nation see or know that diplomatic talks with history's criminal and powerful politicians cannot save Lebanon, Palestine or quds and the number of crimes and oppressions increases daily. “
Imam Khomeini always considered returning to Islam and uniting as a prerequisite to saving Palestine and blocking Zionism's expansionist plans.
Consequently, while stressing that the main goal of Israel is the destruction of Islam, he repeatedly called on the Muslims to put aside all their differences, including the religious ones.
n the words Imam Khomeini, the great leader of the Islamic revolution, made famous, if all the Muslims came together and each one of them threw a bucket of water over Israel, it would be washed away. He said:
"There is something which puzzles me and it is that all the Muslim governments and nations know what the problem is, they know that the hands of foreigners are involved to disunite them, they see that this disunity will weaken and destroy them, they see how the frail regime of Israel has stood against the Muslims, and they know that if united and each one of them threw a bucket of water over Israel it would be washed away, yet still they are helpless before it."
The Leader further underlined the Islamic Republic’s determination to stand against any plot by Israel and global arrogance to instigate wars among Muslims, noting that Iran will emerge victorious in such a campaign as it did so in its fight against Daesh in Iraq and Syria.
The Leader pointed to Iran’s significant progress and its resistance against the hegemonic powers despite four decades of US and Israeli pressure against the country.
