The reputed scholar made remarks while addressing a group of scalars at a ceremony held to mark the research week at Imam Khomeini and revolution research center and college.
The grandson of Imam Khomeini further said that Imam’s ideals formed a school of thought because his words were not limited to certain period of history, but have usage for all eras in accordance with the needs of times and place.
He stressed that Imam's words, sayings, quotes and actions would continue to guide the next generations, but this all should be adjusted and interpreted in accordance with the dynamic needs of time and space.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini also pointed out that a new shell of social order is emerging among people due to cyberspace issues.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the reputed scholar said that Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani was one of the honorable men of the Islamic world.
The eighth anniversary of decease of Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi Bahramani Rafsanjani, the former President of Iran and a key figure in establishing the Islamic Republic of Iran, coinciding with the inauguration of the Cancer Center of Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani Hospital, was held on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
The event was attended by Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian, the former President of Iran Hassan Rouhani, the former Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran Ali Akbar Nategh-Nuri, family members of the late Ayatollah, as well as a number of political figures and officials.
