Dr. Ali Komsari made remarks at a recently held summit which devised plans to promote and unveil Imam’s ideals regarding women’s status in society.
Addressing the gathering, the reputed scholar said Imam’s dynamic thought on women’s status were very progressive
The geometry of Imam's dynamic thought is not flawed at all, but instead is completely transcendent, progressive, savior and healing. But has this happened in practice? “
But he stressed that there was a need to convey Imam’s thought on this subject to the youth and younger generation.
“we should tell young girls and women in society that you have been able to get from here to here in the light of the implementation of Imam Khomeini's views, and these are the examples, samples, and statistics that we can present to you.”
It is worth mentioning that Imam essentially saved and rescued women from a degenerate duality, he noted
Dr. Komsari did not evaluate women’s status as acceptable before the victory of the Islamic Revolution under Imam Khomeini’s leadership.
“That is, a duality in which, on the one hand, religious women were deprived of growth and advancement, and on the other hand, women who played a social role were deprived of their family status and the elements of religion and chastity.”
The reputed scholar concluded by saying this had been the generality, and there must have been exceptions.
