Dr. Elena Levian sheds light on dynamic thought and ideals of Imam Khomeini

Dr. Elena Levian, a researcher in the field of religions and human rights, expressed her views on dynamic thought and ideals of Imam Khomeini and a range of other relevant topics.

During an interview with a reporter from the media cell of the Institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works, Dr. Elena Levian, a researcher in the field of religions and human rights, expressed her views on the ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Republic. 

She also talked about the anti-Zionist struggles, and the human status of the Islamic Revolution. 

Levian, referring to the teachings of Prophet Moses (‘a) explained their connection with the dynamic thought and ideals of Imam Khomeini. 

 “I saw the Imam as a man who revived divine values, justice, and freedom for all religions and peoples.” 

She considered her presence at the conference held under title of “Imam Khomeini and Palestine” as an opportunity to honor the struggles of the Iranian nation.  

The scholar further emphasizes the central role of the Imam in restoring human dignity and confronting the Zionist regime.  

Levian went onto say that her experience of living in Iranian culture and literature and familiarity with Quranic concepts have enabled her to introduce Islam to the world.  

Noting that Islam emphasizes the ethics of peace and justice. Levian also emphasized the importance of following the Imam’s footsteps and struggle.  

She concluded by saying that Imam Khomeini pointed out the need to liberate occupied al-Quds and strengthen the culture of resistance against hegemony.
