Dr. Ali Komsari, the head of the Institute for the compilation and Publication of Imam's works in a recent speech said that in some instances billions are spent on a work of art and the names of some great and distinguished figures appear on it, but the name of Imam Khomeini cannot be seen and goes missing.
Dr. Kamsari, emphasized the necessity of returning to the dynamic thought and ideals of Imam.
He further stressed that Imam’s personality and ideals go beyond love and even the fulfillment of religion; rather, it is a necessity to find the path of righteousness and prosperity.
The head of institute continued by pointing out the consequences a historical view of Imam or just considering him a historical personality and said: “If we believe that the Imam's era is over, we should no longer worry that the younger generation does not know him or that the name and memory of Imam have faded."
The result of this view is the negligence that now we see and experience in some cases, he added.
He clarified by citing a concrete example that a work of art is made and created, billions of tomans are spent on it. The names of some great and distinguished people are on it, but the name of Imam Khomeini is not seen on it.
“Once I called one of the responsible officials and complained; he said, God willing, we will make up for it in the next work, but of course he did not compensate it in the next work either,” Dr. Komsari recounted.
Dr. Komsari went on to emphasize that instead of historical figure, we should look at Imam as a history-making personality who go beyond limits and boundaries of time and space and will live foreever.
