The MoU was signed in the presence of the Secretary-General of the World Assembly of Ahlul Bayt (‘a), Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, and the head of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini's works, Dr. Ali Komsari.
Addressing the ceremony, Ayatollah Ramezani delivered opening remarks in which he considered Imam Khomeini as the reviver of the Ahlul Bayt ('a) school of thought and the architect of a new Islamic civilization in contemporary history.
He further stated that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two institutions will play a vital role in promoting Imam's works, dynamic thought, and ideals.
In his speech, Ayatollah Ramezani also mentioned that the "Wiki Shia" project has been a significant accomplishment of the Islamic Revolution because it introduces the teachings of Ahlul Bayt (a) and reaches out to the entire world to promote the pure school of divine school of thought.
He also highlighted that the world before the victory of the Islamic Revolution under Imam Khomeini's leadership was not religious, but rather materialistic in nature.
Imam successfully integrated religion into the practical life and heart of society through a divine-oriented governance system, he added.

He pointed out that today a kind of revision of religion has emerged in the world's major universities and added that today we must introduce the Imam and the Imam's thought from the perspective that a kind of comprehensiveness in the field of monotheism and the field of society comes from the Imam's thought.
Ayatollah Ramezani highlighted that Imam had put significant emphasis on the unity of Muslim world, justice in human societies and the fight against arrogance as the fundamental principles of his political school of thought.
He went onto say that Imam was not afraid of any materialistic or imperialistic arrogant power.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he also introduced Hadrat Zainab (‘a), the granddaughter of holy prophet of Islam as a comprehensive narrator of Ashura message.
Dr. Ali Komsari, for his part, said that stated that Imam had played a role of an interpreter of the teachings of divine religion of Islam and pure school of thought associated with the holy prophet’s household.
Referring to famous expression by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei that "Imam has been an ever-living reality", Komari said that the characteristic of the ever-living requires always being dynamic.
He added that this ever-living reality and the spiritual light that Imam brought about to humanity is naturally requires to be defined in accordance of the Today’s needs and circumstances.
Hojjat al-Islam Komsari stressed that there was a need of conducing ijtihad to explore Imam's dynamic thought and ideals.
Dr. Komsari concluded by saying that there has been need of undertaking serious efforts to reintroduce Imam’s ideals in accordance with the need of time, place and circumstances.
