Devotees Recount Memoirs about Imam Khomeini

The head of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini‘s section in the city of Qom says the devotees and companions will continue to recount memoirs about the founder of the Islamic Republic.

Hojjat al-Islam Mousawi said that several volumes of memoirs about Imam Khomeini have been compiled by the institutefor compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini's works over the past few years.

There is great inclination among friends, followers and devotees to describe and to recall memoirs about the events happened regarding the Islamic revolution and Imam Khomeini over the past decades, Mousawi noted.

These memoirs are collected, analyzed and their authenticity is confirmed by a group of experts closely coordinating with research departments of the institute, the academic added.

He went onto saying that there was a great need to promote Imam’s dynamic thought and genuine teachings for the young generation and the Islamic societies.

According to Moussawi, this task can be accomplished by attaching more significance to events  regarding Imam and Islamic Revolution on the calendar. There was a growing need to spread and emanate Imam’s dynamic thought in a range of fields of life.

The institute had organized several cultural programs in Qom to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Imam Khomeini's birth anniversary which also coincides with the birth anniversary of the holy lady Hadzrat Fatim (PBUH), the daughter of the holy prophet of Islam. 

It is worth mentioning that Imam’s works and thought are becoming increasingly popular among various nations in different parts of globe.
