Imam Khomeini’s Biography Published in Iraq

A significant book containing events on Imam Khomeini’s personal, academic and political life has been published and widely welcomed by a range of readers in the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

The book titled ‘Imam Khomeini, biography and conduct’ has been translated into Arabic and published in close coordination between the Iraqi institutions and the Iranian cultural house.

The book consists off events about Imam’s childhood, youth and academic career. It also contains several memoirs about Imam’s academic life at seminaries in the Iranian cities of Khomeini, Qom, Arak and the Iraqi holy city of Najaf.

It also introduces Imam’s prominent teachers and discusses Imam’s piety, conduct and qualifications. It is noteworthy that the world religious and spiritual leader has had well command over a variety of religious sciences including jurisprudence, philosophy, mysticism and poetry.

The academic writing also analyses Imam’s struggle against the world arrogance which led to downfall the Pahalavi regime and victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979. It also discusses Imam’s sufferings during years

This comes as the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works has published a book under title of ‘Narrative of Awakening’ which contains similar discussions on Imam’s personal and academic life.
