Question: How did you become familiar with dynamic personality of Imam Khomeini and his dynamic thought?
Mohammed al-Isawi: I lived with Imam Khomeini’s genuine teachings and dynamic throughout of my life. I became familiar with the great Imam during my stay in the holy Iraqi city of Najaf. I became fond of studying and analyzing Imam’s thought, conduct, decrees, writings and lectures.
Question: How do you assess the Islamic Revolution which emerged as victorious under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini in 1979?
Mohammed al-Isawi: The great Imam led the Islamic movement at a very sensitive juncture of history. At that time the world had been divided into two blocks and he wanted to relive the oppressed nations from clothes of the both. He challenged all ill-powers including the dominance of the United States and its allies. The Islamic Revolution was unprecedented and it brought grandeur and grace for the whole Muslim world.
Question: What are most significant characteristic and qualities of Imam Khomeini from your viewpoint?
Mohammed al-Isawi: The founder of the Islamic Revolution has great and numerous divine qualities and characteristics. The great Imam had maintained pleasant bond and spiritual ties with his followers and devotees. He has had special spiritual emotional ties with his devotees. He could manage to attract millions of masses in Iran and believers form across the world. He still continues to rule the hearts and souls of the youth and masses around the globe.
Questions: How did Imam’s dynamic thought influence the Arab nations and the whole world?
Mohammed al-Isawi: Imam Khomeini is loved by millions across the world. His genuine teachings and dynamic thought has had great impact on various nations in different parts of the world. Imam Khomeini led a great movement which changed the path of history in our contemporary era.
