The Greek Ministry of Culture was presented with the book:

Muhammad Reza Pakravan, who is the head of Iran's cultural attaché presented the book The status of women in Imam Khomeini’s view, to Zoe Kazazaki, who is the head of the Cultural Ministry of Greece.

According to the Iqna News agency, in the meeting which took place between Pakravan, who is the head of Iran's cultural attaché, and  Kazazaki, who is the head of the Cultural Ministry of Greece,  Pakravan talked of expanding and strengthening the cultural and artistic relations between the two countries.

During this meeting  Pakravan presented the head of the Cultural Ministry of Greece with several books. One of them was a book by Imam Khomeini, The status of women in Imam Khomeini’s view. These books have been published by Iran's cultural attaché department.

 Kazazaki said: “Iran has a rich culture and we are ready to expand our cultural relations with this country. This is because the two countries of Iran and Greece possess brilliant civilizations, which have offered the world valuable services. Thus it is fitting that we become more aware of one another’s culture.”

 Pakravan also insisted that the two countries should learn more of one another’s cultures and said: “Our two countries have a cultural contract, which is in need of planning on the behalf of both parties in order to not only practice the articles of this contract but to expand the cultural activities and relations between our two countries.”

 Pakravan further added: “According to the cultural exchange contract between us, both countries have the permission to hold cultural weeks in each other’s countries. Thus we have asked to be able to hold a ‘Islamic Republic of Iran Film Week’ with the help of the Greek Ministry of Culture.”
