325000 people have visited Imam’s residence in Khomein

325000 Iranian and foreign tourists visited Imam Khomeini’s old and historic residence in Khomein in the previous Iranian year.

The head of The Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini's Works in Khomein said: “325000 Iranian and foreign tourists visited Imam Khomeini’s old and historic residence in Khomein in the previous Iranian year.”

Hojatoleslam Sayyid Javad Razavi added: “These visitors were among  transit passengers, university student groups, students, Rahian Noor caravans and foreign tourists.”

He continued: “Among them were 800 foreign tourists who had traveled to see this historic site from different countries.”

Razavi stated: “Imam’s historic residence in this city is one of the cultural and historic sights of the Markazi province which always welcomes the tourists who attend there.”

He clarified: “Right now all parts of this house is open for visitors and they could visit different parts such as the place Imam was born, the office of Ayatollah Pasandideh, the yards and inner rooms.”
