According to news by the News committee of Imam’s commemoration, the selected members of the 9th parliament renewed their oath with the great aspirations of the revolution’s martyrs by attending at Behesht-e Zahra, today, Sunday May 27th. Then they went to the holy shrine of Imam, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and paid tribute by donating a wreath.
According to this report, when the MPs entered the shrine, Ali Larijani, the speaker of the parliament, was warmly welcomed by Sayyid Hassan Khomeini, the trusteeship of the holy shrine. Mohammad Ali Ansari, head of the Institute for Compilation and Publication of the Works of Imam Khomeini was also present during this ceremony.
The noon prayer was also said by Hojatoleslam Sayyid Hassan Khomeini as the Imam.
