Ceremonies celebrating Eid al-Ghadeer

Eid al-Ghadeer was celebrated in many places all over Iran and an atmosphere of happiness was felt throughout the country.

On Tuesday, the 18^th of Dhil hijja which coincided with the 15^th of November, ceremonies were held all over Iran to celebrate Eid al-Ghadeer. This great day was also celebrated at the Imam’s holy shrine and at Husseiniah Jamaran. Poems were read and food was given out, all in honour of this day.
