The special edition on Islamic Awakening

A perfect human being rose from the east of existence geography whose shining light terminated the darkness of the west. Up until then the western totality had considered human authenticity as its ultimate goal and had established its civilization on rationality and lust, which, were intended to dominate the entire universe. For such a macrocosm, all of whose values were based on benefit and bound with materialism, achieving material and economic growth was considered as an ideal goal. Imam Khomeini (s) who was connected with genuine Islamic resources established a firm relationship between religiosity and a proper form of materialism. By reviving innocence and an appeal for justice, and by disclaiming God as the absolute authority on earth, Imam Khomeini united all the faithful and reformist individuals of the whole world and centralized them on teachings of God's divine prophets. Iran Islamic Revolution, as an evident opposition to the decaying civilization of the material macrocosm, paved the ways for a new era of searching for justice and truth in the light of admitting God's divine dominance on Man's destiny and denial of any dependence on the east and west under the protection of the true form of Islam. The message conveyed by Iran Islamic Revolution and its unique leader- Imam Khomeini (s)- who actualized this revolution, was warmly received by all the oppressed and reformist nations in the entire world. This revived bravery, self-esteem and an appeal for justice in the souls of all the oppressed of the world. Now that we are approaching the 22nd anniversary of Imam Khomeini's departure, conducting a review on the concepts, teachings and principles associated with Iran's revolution along with Imam Khomeini's scientific and practical modus will be more than ever as a guide to the new revolutionary generation of the Islamic world and reformist nations. Following God's divine decrees, the Islamic school and the defined path by Imam Khomeini (Iran's great revolutionary leader), promises a new unification of Muslim nations of the district and unites all the oppressed of the world against the eastern and western oppressors.

"This new wave of movement and public awakening in Islamic nations and this hatred of the colonial autocracy and tyranny, gives me hope. This public awakening is not temporal and will last up until it terminates autocracy and their tyranny."
In the early 20th century, the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution led by a wise, pious unique mystic was promising for all the reformist nations all over the world, who were in search of God. This revolution ruined the dominant image of evil powers and autocratic governments for the oppressed nations and provided the reformist individuals with a chance to start reformist movements for the sake of justice, so that the third millennium can be dubbed "man's age of reviving mysticism, justice and awakening as a result". This awakening which was firstly a result of reviving identity and self-esteem in the Islamic nations, ruined the global equations of autocracy and determinism based on which only the capitalists and the great powers were formally recognized. This also undermined liberalism and capitalism and therefore boosted the pure Islamic front, which was established by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in search of actualizing human values and mysticism. The essence of this uprising is rooted in its divine approach and incentive defined by its great leader-Imam Khomeini (s), without which this ideal could not have been achieved. This is what Imam Khomeini always was focused on for achieving victory:
"Rise for God's sake and for establishing the truth …If an uprising is started for God's sake, there will be no horror or loss ."

The First Foreign Guest

Bishop Capucci enters Iran's Islamic Republic on April, 04, 1979 as the first foreign guest, and is received warmly by people and Imam Khomeini (s). Regarding this event, bishop Capucci says: "I was welcomed by thousands of religious brothers in the airport. We left for Imam's house. He received and embraced me warmly, then having my hand in his addressed the press and said: You all witnessed how bishop Capucci was received. You are imbibed with lies and rumors scattered by the enemies of Islam who seek to ruin the image of this revolution. They introduce this revolution as a movement for inducing tension, prejudice and bloodbath; though they are aware of the fact that Islam (which is our model in here) is a religion supporting kindness, piety, patience and modesty. Bishop Capucci was tortured and imprisoned because he fought for the rights of Quds and its release from the captivity of Israel. He was sentenced to nine years of imprisonment, four years of which are served. He is now paroled with the intermediacy of Pope and lives in exile in Rome away from his fatherland, people and Quds…"
Bishop Capucci visited many places while being in Iran, including the location of the Republican Party and the embassy of Israel, which became the embassy of Palestine after Iran's Islamic revolution. He then returned to his fatherland.
Once he traveled to Iran on the occasion of Iranians conquering the American embassy and taking the Americans as hostages. It is interesting that Imam Khomeini only negotiated this issue with bishop Capucci. In this regard, bishop Capucci says:
"I am proud of the precious trust Imam Khomeini puts on me. He permitted me to intervene with this issue of hostages, ...

Imam Khomeini's
Heavenly Departure

Imam Khomeini had informed all the things, intentions and purposes he wanted to present. He also put al his efforts and life in practice to achieve his goals. Now in the middle of Khordad 1368, he prepares himself to see one who he yielded to attract His satisfaction in all his lifetime. He bowed nobody and cried for none except his beloved. All his mystical poems were an indication of separation from the loved and yielding to remove the thirst for uniting with the beloved. Now this was the glorious time for him and an intolerable time for his disciples. The time of separation from the material world was at 22:30 p.m. the 13th of Khordad 1368 on Saturday. Before his death time, he had revived million hearts to the spirituality. All the last days in hospital, the illness, the surgery, and the time of decease were recorded by a hidden camera installed in his room. After seeing Imam Khomeini's spiritual moods and peace on air, all people get sorrowful. People were permanently reciting God's name in their hearts. Imam Khomeini in the last day of his life, when he had tolerated some surgery operations in his 87 years of age, he never put aside reciting Quran and Nafele. In the last hours, he had a surprising peace and comfort and all the time made a confession of faith. In the time, he passed away. When it was spread on air that Imam Khomeini had died, all Iran began to cry.
