Sayyid Hassan Khomeini was visited by a number of Afghani men and women. He talked of Imam Sajjad (as) as the founder of a cultural movement among Muslims. He also told the Afghans to stay united, believe in themselves and work together to build Afghanistan.

Fo’aad al-Razim has been in Israeli prisons for thirty years, until recently when he was freed. He visited the International Imam Khomeini University of Gazvin, and talked of the Imam’s role in making the struggles of Palestinians a global issue. He also thanked the Iranian people for their help and support. In addition he talked of his experiences and the strength of the spirit of resistance in Palestine.

A meeting based on the Imam’s role in the Islamic awakening of the world will be held on Thursday the 22nd of December. This meeting will be hosted by the Imam and Islamic Revolution Jahad-e-Daneshgahi University Cultural Centre at the Zanjan Medical Sciences University Department. In addition the current uprisings will be discussed and the effect of the Imam’s ideals on these uprisings will be debated.
