The acting head of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works made remarks while extending his condolences on occasion of passing away of Seyed Sadegh Tabatabai.
Dr. Ansari insisted that the late figure had no doubts about authenticity of Imam’s message, and indisputable and divine personality of the great Imam.
The academic emphasized that late Tabatabai had conveyed Imam’s message to the Iranian and foreign students who were studying at the German universities and other educational institutions across the Western countries.
He had carried these great tasks during the tough years of struggle for the Islamic revolution, the academic underscored.
Ansari noted that late Tabatabai rendered great services and severed on various positions following victory of the Islamic Revolution following victory in 1979.
Recalling his great zeal for the Islamic movement, the academic noted that late Tabatabai had served as the government spokesman under the transitional government of Prime Minister, Mehdi Bazargan.
Dr. Ansari message partly reads that late Sadegh Tabatabai is part of the history of Iran’s Islamic Revolution. This message also forwarded its condolences to the bereaved family of late Tabatabai.
Late Seyed Sadegh Tabatabai , who recently passed away, has been brother in law of late Hajjat al-Islam Seyyed Ahmad Khomeini, son of the founder of the Islamic Republic and nephew of Imam Musa Sadr.
Meanwhile, President Rouhani, and Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the founder of the Islamic Republic in separate messages, had earlier forwarded his condolences on the death of Seyed Sadegh Tabatabai,
Late Tabatabai suffered from lung cancer and was transferred to a hospital in Germany for medical treatment. He passed away on last Friday at the age of 71.
He has left a lot of memoirs about the great Imam and events leading to emergence of the Islamic Revolution
It is noteworthy that Imam established a comprehensive Islamic-democratic system following the victory of Islamic Revolution in 1979.
Imam Khomeini the founder of the Islamic Republic frequently said that Islam was fully capable of establishing progressive democratic system. The progressive Islamic government brought prosperity and development for the nation in coming years.
