The tourist made remarks during a visit to holy mausoleum of the founder of the Islamic Revolution which is located on the outskirts of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The French citizen said that he had seen signs of genuine Islam in Iran as its people are very kind and hospitable.
The tourist, whose father was a French and mother an Italian, said that he had been pursuing events in Iran since the outset of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979.
He also denounced the wrong propaganda by the Western media outlets against Iran. The French national expressed and his family expressed pleasure to choose Iran as a site of their tour.
Imam Khomeini’s shrine is visited by thousands of tourists and pilgrims from across Iran and the world each year.
