Extremist Wahhabis fueling conflicts

A Lebanese media researcher says extremist Wahabbis are fueling conflicts and violence across the Muslim world.

AbdulqadirFakhani said in an interview with Jamaran news agency that the Wahhbism is akin to a caner which was igniting crisis and conflicts among the entire Muslim Ummah.

The researcher went onto say that the Takfiri terrorist groups were committing heinous crimes against Muslim by shedding bloodshed and carrying out massacre across various Islamic countries.

He pointed out that the colonial and exploiting powers were viciously attempting to engage Muslims in external conflicts, so they forget the most important issue of Palestine which is the most important issue of the Muslim world.

Elsewhere in his remarks, praising Iran role in uniting the Muslim nations, the scholar said that Iran has done his best to promote unity and solidarity among the Muslim societies.

We see necessary to mention that Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic opposed all types of violence. Imam promoted peace, security and harmony on the international arena.

Moreover, Imam has been a great supporter and champion of unit among Muslims.

However, the Lebanese researcher also voiced concerns that some Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia were spreading the strife and divide among Muslims.

The remarks come as the TakfiriDaesh terrorists and several al-Qaeda linked groups are causing havoc in several countries, especially in Iraq and Syria.

The Western and northern parts of Iraq have been plagued by violence ever since Daesh began an offensive in the Arab country one and half years ago

TheDaesh and other militant groups have committed crimes against all religious communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians and ethnic groupsacross the two countries. The government troops backed Popular Mobilization Units are seeking to take back militant-held regions in a series of massive joint security operations.
