Imam highlighted mankind’s God-seeking nature

Imam Khomeini in several of his works puts emphasizes on God-seeking nature of Human being.

Imam Khomeini in his famous book known as “an exposition on Forty Hadith” explains that fitratAllah,a Quranic term is the state in which God fashioned human beings, refers to the essential condition of their existence.

According to Imam, the truth pursuing and God seeking qualities are embedded in essence and substance of human creation. This is while the other creatures are either created without these certain attributes or endowed with lower degree of such qualities. 

Imam put emphasizes that the word fitrah in several of Haiths is also interpreted as a natural inclination towards tawhid, i.e monotheism. The mankind naturally has strong inclinations towards monotheism and teachings of divine religions.

This is the interpretation which can be traced quotes and sayings left by the truthful successors of the holy prophet of Islam, and infallible Imams (peace be upon them.)  

There is one famous Hadith which describes that “Every child is born on the fitrah.” Fitrah includes all the true teachings which God Almighty has ingrained in the nature of His slaves.

Imam also underscores that the mankind has also natural belief in the day of resurrection when he would be rewarded for his good deeds or face justice.

It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini has left several works which covers a range of divine and Islamic fields.
