Austrian delegation visits Imam Khomeini’s shrine

A high-ranking delegation has paid homage to Imam Khomeini by visiting the holy shrine of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Iran.

The delegation which was comprised of senior officials visited the holy mausoleum which is located on the outskirts of the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The delegation has been visiting Iran to enhance bilateral ties between the two countries.

The holy site is visited by thousands of people including senior officials, intellectuals, academic, pilgrims and tourists from across the globe.

In recent years, Imam’s mausoleum has become a center and beacon of religious, social and cultural gatherings and activities.

Imam Khomeini is widely respected by devotees and figures due to his inclusive approach to all divine religions. Imam left several precious works which include philosophy, mysticism, jurisprudence, Quran and Hadith sciences and poetry and literature.

Imam’s ideals continue to attract millions as some of his works have become part of curriculum of several prestigious seminaries and universities in various part of the world.

Imam highlighted commonalities among the divine religions, and called on all followers of divine religions to become united under one banner in order to confront the vicious plans by colonial powers.

The Islamic Revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini in 1979 put Iran on track of progress, and strengthened the entire Muslim Ummah and encouraged the oppressed nations to reclaim their rights.
