Addressing a recent meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Mohammad Moghaddam, who heads a specially-established headquarters for the foreign guests, said that all institutions must coordinate to hold the upcoming anniversary in the month of June.
The meeting was attended by several research and academic organizations, and relevant security institutions.
The director of the international department of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works went onto say that organization of the anniversary in a suitable manner would be considered a national source of pride, achievement and an accomplishment for all organizations.
The scholar pointed out that the headquarters are assigned with inviting, hosting and handling all affairs of the foreign guests attending the ceremony.
The headquarters with close coordination of the foreign ministry and the Islamic cultural and relation organization is going to issue necessary guidelines regarding the anniversary to the Iranian embassies, diplomatic missions and cultural centers, he noted.
The academic figure also pointed out that this year’s anniversary bears a great significance and we must make best use of the event.
We may not be able to organize the event at high-level due to its coincidence with the holy month of Ramadan during the upcoming three years, he explained.
Elsewhere in his remarks, pointing to the insecurity and instability engulfing the Mideast region, Dr. Moghaddam cautioned that serious coordination is required among the institutions to hold this year’s event without occurrence of any unpleasant or unwanted incident.
Dr. Moghaddam concluded by saying that holding the anniversary in a complete secure environment would also demonstrate and show matchless and high-level security across Iran.
The Islamic Revolution, which emerged victorious in 1979 under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini, defended the rights of oppressed people and strengthened the entire Muslim world.
Imam Khomeini passed away on June 03, 1989 and departed heavenly after rendering great services to the oppressed nations and reviving the divine and moral values in contemporary history.
Imam’s academic and divine legacy continue to guide generations and nations across the globe.
