A grandson of Imam Khomeini says Olympics and Paralympics are good time and provide with great opportunity to promote the values of Islamic Revolution.
Aytollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that the international sports event should be used to convey and promote divine, human and values and principles of the Islamic Revolutions.
He described the widespread of sports and exercise necessary and vital, especially for those who became disabled during the Iraqi war imposed by the then dictator Saddam against Iran.

Iranian athletes and sportsmen have won several medals in various sports fields at Olympics in recent years.
Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic through his works, speeches and messages frequently advised the sportsmen to observe spirituality, give importance to self-purification promte moral values, and earn reputation for Islam and their country.
