Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Ali Khomeini made remarks during a gathering held in Hossainiah Jamaran (a site for religious ceremonies) to commemorate Martyr Ahmad Gholami, a senior commander, who rendered numerous sacrifices to promote the cause of the Islamic Revolution.
The internationally-reputed scholar went onto say that Imam’s ideals and school of thought confronts brutality and defends oppressed ones.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he strongly denounced the extremist ruling House of Saud family who have engaged in vicious activities against Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Saudi regime-backed clerics issue religious decrees against the Sunni and Shia Muslims and spread Takfiri ideology, the scholar added.
The remarks come as Saudi Arabia’s unconstitutional monarchy and undemocratic regime, which is backed by colonial powers, has been sponsoring, financing and arming Takfiri terrorist groups such as Daesh and al-Qaeda in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere to advance destructive agenda of Zionist regime of Israel in the region.
It is worthy to mention that the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini changed balance of power in the interests of developing countries and oppressed nations, promoted moderation and confronted evil powers and brutality.
