Qom hosts academic session about Imam Khomeini’s work

An academic session has been held in the Iranian city of Qom to present deep analysis about Imam Khomeini’s famous book, which was originally written in Arabic.

The gathering to discuss Misbah ul-Hidayah ilal-Khilafah wal-Wilayah was attended by Farideh Mostafavi, an Iranian religious scholar and Imam Khomeini’s daughter, Dr. Fatima Tabatabai, the daughter- in- law of Imam, and several other intellectuals and scholars from universities and seminaries.

Addressing the ceremony, Tabatabai, also a researcher on the Islamic Mysticism and Imam’s works presented a deep analysis of the theological work which contains a range of topics, including man as God's vicegerent.

Misbah al-Hidayah (lamp of guidance), an unprecedented theological work left by Imam Khomeini,  also contains very deep discussions to prove the matter of adherence to Velayat of the members of the infallible member of the household of the honorable Prophet of Islam.

The theological work also proves that the holy prophet of Islam and his infallible successors, who are perfect men, opened real horizons for mankind towards monotheism.

In other part of the session, a two-volume commentary on the work written by prominent Muslim scholar, Yadullah Yazdanpanah, was unveiled in the presence of scholars.

Dozens of Imam Khomeini’s works which covers a wide-range of Islamic fields including Quranic and Hadith sciences, philosophy, mysticism and jurisprudence, have been translated into several languages over the past years.
