Foreign students visit Imam Khomeini’s historic residence

A group of foreign students have visited Imam Khomeini’s historic residence which is located in Jamaran district of northern Tehran.

The students from some central Asian states and Japan who are learning Persian language in Iran visited Imam’s simply-built residence in Jamaran where the founder of Islamic Revolution had opted to live following the victory of Islamic Revolution in 1979. The visiting students were deeply impressed by the simple life-style of the contemporary Muslim World leader who had transformed the balance of power in the interest of oppressed nation at a sensitive juncture of history.  The visit comes as millions of people are set to celebrate the 38th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The visit by student took place during days when Imam Khomeini returned to the Iranian capital Tehran, which marks celebrations better known as the 10-Day Dawn festivities. The sites attributed to Imam Khomeini are visited by thousands of pilgrims, tourists and intellectuals form across Iran and the various parts of the globe each year. Imam Khomeini established an Islamic-democratic system in Iran following the victory of the revolution. The Islamic revolution revived divine values and changed the balance of power in interest of the oppressed nations.
