After making inquiries and listening to the Imam’s advice and other family members, Sayyid Ahmad Khomeini, may Allah be pleased with him, married the daughter of Ayatollah Sultani Tabataba’i. She belonged to the holy and honorable family of clergymen, whose ancestors were from the well-known Mujtahids of the hawzahs. The offspring of this blessed union was three sons called Hajj Sayyid Hassan Khomeini, Hajj Sayyid Yasir Khomeini, and Sayyid Ali Khomeini. These beloved ones were the apple of the Imam’s eye and were very dear to him.
