During the first term of the Islamic Consultative Assembly when I held a meeting with the Imam, one of the representatives (Fakhruddin Hijazi) who was present showered a lot of praises on the Imam. I saw his face become pale on hearing those words of praise and at the end of the meeting he said: "I hope that these words do not have an effect on me as I am not more than a servant."[1]
