Poets from subcontinent explore unity and pure Islamic ideals in Imam Khomeini poetry

Poets of Indian and Pakistani origins have presented their poetic verses at a ceremony in the Iranian holy city of Qom, exploring the concept of Islamic unity and pure Islamic ideals from Imam Khomeini's poetic and theological works.

The gathering was organized with the efforts of the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini's works on the eve of the birthday anniversary of the holy prophet of Islam.

The ceremony was attended by the acting head of the international department affairs, Reza Abdollahi and some other officials from the institue. Several Iranian seminary and university scholars, studnets and individuals from different walks of life attended the spiritual gathering. 

A number of poets from Indian and Pakistan presented their works with the theme of the Islamic unity and pure Islam in works and ideals of Imam. 

The poetry and several other works of the founder of the Islamic Republic have been translated in Hindi and Urdu languages and are widely welcomed by the readers across the Indian subcontinent.
