O Allah , on this day grant me ,wisdom and awareness

Ramadan, which is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is a period of fasting for Muslims. Fasting in Ramadan helps Muslims grow closer to God, the Almighty and seek His proximity.

The special supplication recommended for recitation by the holy prophet of Islam and his infallible successors comes as following:

O Allah , on this day grant me ,wisdom and awareness, keep me away from foolishness and pretension , grant me a share me every blessing You send down by You generosity , O the most Generous

Imam Khomeini once said that In insuring Islam in this month of Ramadān is with your prayers and your tears and lamentations and the matters that you always observed for Islam.

(Sahifeh-ye-Imam, Vol 17, Page 465)

Imam  used to advise devotees to recite divine scripture of Quran, perform prayers and read supplications which have been narrated by the holy prophet of Islam and his infallible successors.

These sacred texts contain matchless mystical treasures and divine guidance.

Fasting is considered by Muslims as a means to improve their moral characters and provides an opportunity for a spiritual renewal.

As the sun sets, this divine voice calls for prayer. But during the fasting month of Ramadan, it also means that the fasting hours are over and Muslims can eat the Iftar, or the breakfast.
