It has been reported through a series of memoirs that Imam Khomeini used to perform pilgrimage of the holy shrines of he used to perform the holy shrines of the doyen of martyrs Imam Hossein(‘a) and Abolfazl al-Abbas (‘a) each morning and evening while during stay in Karbala .
It was also Imam’s daily routine to visit Imam Ali (‘a) shrine multiple times daily during years-long stay in the holy city of Najaf.
