Head of institute slams barbaric Israeli attack on Iranian consulate in Syria

Dr. Ali Komsari, the head of institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works has said that the strike violated all international norms and laws regarding diplomatic missions.

Addressing a gathering of the institute’s officials and personnel on the occasion of new Persian year, Hojjat al-Islam Komsari said that the Israeli attack displayed the ultimate height of barbarity.

“The attack, it was not unlikely from a usurping and illegitimate regime was a blatant violation of international law and existing norms regarding diplomatic missions,” Komsari said.

Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic truly named Israeli regime as a cancerous tumor in the Mideast region, he noted

In any case, it was not unlikely by illegitimate regime, but it is against all human rights conventions, regulations and diplomatic standards of the world to attack the embassy compound of a country in front of the world eyes.

Diplomatic sources and world leaders have stressed that the attack constitutes “a flagrant violation” of all the foundations of international law, including the Vienna Convention that guarantees the safety of diplomatic and consular places.

The head of institute stressed the need for strong bonds and relation between the public masses and authorities.

It is because the late founder of the Islamic Republic was a true followers of the holy prophet of Islam and his infallible successors and was against any luxuriousness, sumptuous living or any types of formalities.

Komsari further stated that we must have strong resolve and proper tools to confront those who launched smear campaign or vicious propaganda against Imam Khomeini’s ideals.

Anyway, if we look at the commander of faithful Imam Ali (‘a) as a perfect divine personality whose words and action are still the light of humanity.

Our society, ruling officials, managers and other authorities also should also follow the footsteps of Imam Ali (‘a) and feel suffering of public masses and undertake utmost efforts to find their solutions, Komsari said.

He concluded by saying that the late founder of the Islamic Republic used to follow footsteps of Imam ‘Ali (‘a) and advised others to do same while serving people and society.

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps named Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a commander of the

the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) ’s Quds Force and his deputy General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi as among the martyrs of the terrorist attack.
