The locations related to Imam Khomeini were visited by many tourists and admirers of Imam Khomeini. Iraqi pilgrims from the city of Salman Farsi (Madain) visited Imam Khomeini’s Shrine on Monday. They showed their utmost respect for the leader of the revolution and prayed their Maghirb and I’sha prayers there.
In addition honourable ladies from Asian, African and European countries visited the Imam’s house in Jamaran and were shown the different sections of the house. They were able to see up close how simple the Imam lived. They also visited Husseiniah Jamaran, which is connected to the Imam’s house.
The Imam’s house was given to him by Hujjat al-Islam Imami Jamarani and has been currently turned into a museum. This museum contains many personal items belonging to the Imam, and this attracts many tourists each year.
