The duties of the institute
According to the constitution, this institute will operate according to the higher education system of the Islamic republic of Iran and has the following duties:
1- To accomplish the fundamental researches about Imam Khomeini's ideas and notions and identifying the Islamic revolution and its related fields
2- To give the consultation services for the research programs
3- To accomplish the necessary activities to practice the results
4- To provide the necessary facilities appropriate for the programs and research plans
5- To analyze and identify the research requirements and solving the related problems of the executive and service sections
6- To provide an active communication with other institutes and scientific-research centers inside and outside of the country according the laws and rules
7- To provide a needed and coordinated communication with the qualified and creative forces in scientific-research centers in the Islamic Republic of Iran
8- Benefiting the last results of the researches and science progress in all research levels to develop the Institute's goals
9- To hold international and domestic conferences and scientific congresses with cooperation of other educational-research institutes in the fields related to the institute
10- To gather the scientific documents to study the contexts of the institute activities
11- Compilation and translation of the scientific-research publications and works appropriate with the institute's aims
12- To establish the university courses and accepting the students
