Mikhail Bogdanov, the Russian Deputy of Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation visited the mausoleum of the founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini and paid tribute to him.
The officials of Iran's Foreign Ministry accompanied Bogdanov and his delegation in this visit. Bogdanov arrived in Tehran with the invitation of Iran's Foreign Ministery.
The Russian president's special envoy for the Middle East is scheduled to discuss regional developments.
