He made remarks while visiting Imam Khomeini’s shrine which is located on the outskirts of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The pilgrim noted that he along with his friends visited the holy mausoleum to pay homage to Imam Khomeini and has great respect for him in core of heart.
Imam has been a great religious leader of Shia Muslims and a source of pride and honor in contemporary history, he added.
The pilgrim expressed feelings of spiritual satisfaction over the fact that he has been a follower and devotees of Imam.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he pointed to the participation of millions of people in the recent Arba’een ceremony in Karbala, and described it as a great gathering of the school of Ahlul Bayt. (the holy prophet of Islam and his infallible successors)
It is noteworthy that Imam Khomeini established an Islamic-democratic system in Iran which changed balance of power in the interests of the Muslim and oppressed nations.
