Mysticism runs deep in thought of Imam Khomeini

Turkey’s Minister of Culture and Tourism Mahir Ünal says mysticism is manifested in Imam Khomeini’s divine personality, and runs deep in thought and ideals of the founder of the Islamic Republic.

The Turkish minister made remarks during a meeting with Dr. Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, head of Iran’s National Library and Archives during a recent visit to Tehran.

Ünal was briefed about various parts and functions of the library, and the precious works and historic transcript kept there.   

The Turkish minister was also informed that a recently unveiled precious book under the title of “A review of monotheism” which is written by Ayatollah Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the Islamic Republic, would be translated into Turkish language with efforts of the Iranian cultural center in Istanbul.

“We have decided to translate the book into Turkish language as a gift for cultural, academic and mystic echelon of the Turkish society,” the head of Iran’s National Library said.

The  two-volume book on the subject of monotheism by Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini was recently unveiled in presence of officials and senior university and seminary scholars.

The book is outcome of a series of lectures delivered by the grandson of the founder of the Islamic Republic during a series of study circles regarding Fusus al-Hikam by well-known Muslim scholar Muhyiddin Ibn 'Arabi 

It is mention to worthy that Imam Khomeini has had well command over a variety of inter-diciplinary fields, and left dozens of precious academic works regarding mysticism, philosophy, Quranic and Hadith sciences, Quranic interpretation, jurisprudence and literature and poetry.

In recent years, Imam Khomeini’s divine legacy has become increasingly popular among academics and has been included as parts of curriculum of some prestigious universities and research institutes.

Imam’s divine-oriented teachings will always continue to appeal and guide believers, oppressed nations and entire Muslim Ummah.
