Seyyed Hassan Khomeini hails Iranian engineers’ efforts

The grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic has hailed presence of Iranian engineers in Sri Lanka.

Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini met a group of 350 experts including engineers who have been building dam and development of water system across Sri Lanka.

The grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic hailed their contribution towards the progress of the friendly South Asian country. He also hoped for further advancements of Iranian experts in the fields of industry and technology on international arena.

It is worthy to mention that Seyyed Hassan Khomeini along a high-delegation has been visiting Sri Lanka, and has held several meetings with political leaders, including president and prime minister, and religious leaders.

He has been widely welcome by Muslims, Christians, Buddhas and members of other faiths and communities.

Sri Lankan leader have hailed their country’s historic and growing ties with Iran.

Colombo and Tehran have maintained very good ties in several fields including political, social and economic fields.

It is notable that Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic used to emphasize to maintain very amicable ties with all countries, especially the regional developing nations in all fields and arenas.
