International summit on Palestine wraps up in Tehran

The two-day Tehran conference on Palestine wrapped up on with a statement that voiced support for the rights of the Palestinian nation.

The summit, which was attended by around 700 foreign guests from dozens of countries and representatives of pro-Palestinian organizations, also underlined the need for an end to Israel’s nearly seven decades of occupation. 

In the statement, the participants highlighted resistance as the sole solution to the Palestinian issue. They also underscored the need for further unity among the Palestinians, and

The attendees also called on the international community to mount pressure on Israel to put an end to its “inhumane” measures in the occupied territories, including killing and forced expulsion of Palestinians.

They also called on the parliaments of Muslim and Arab countries to ban any political and economic ties with Israel.

The event emphasized the importance of the Palestinian uprising against the Israeli occupation.

It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic through his historic speeches and messages exposed crimes being committed by the Israeli regime against Palestinian nation.

Imam also recommended the Iranian officials and advised all Islamic countries to raise the Palestinian issue at the world forums and on international arena.

The victory of Islamic Revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini changed the balance of power in the interests of the oppressed nations.
