Foreign students visit Imam Khomeini’s historic residence

A group of foreign students studying medical in Iran has visited a historic residence where Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, opted to live following the victory of Islamic Revolution in 1979.

The medical students belonging to Iraq, Syria, Nigeria and Pakistan visited Imam’s simply-built historic residence in northern district of Jamaran in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The students from Tehran medical University were also briefed about Imam Khomeini’s works and the history of Islamic Revolution. They were deeply impressed by simple life style adopted by the contemporary leader of the Muslim world.

The students also visited a nearby art gallery where objects regarding the history of Islamic Revolution are kept.

Imam’s divine oriented character and personality continue to attract believers and followers of divine religion from across various parts of the globe.

The sites attributed to Imam Khomeini are visited by thousands of pilgrims, tourists and intellectuals form across Iran and several other parts of the world.

The Islamic Revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini resulted in an all-out progress of Iran in various arenas and changed balance of power in the interests of Muslims and strengthened the oppressed nations.
