“We consider Imam as the flag bearer of justice, spiritualism and reformism in the contemporary history,” said Hojjat al-Islam Ali Komsari.
The reputed scholar went onto say that the national freedom, independence and pride owe to Imam and grandeur of the religion and restoration of dignity had not been possible without the Islamic Resolution.
Dr. Komsari made remarks while addressing a ceremony and press briefing at Imam's holy mausoleum to mark the 33rd founding anniversary of the institute, the sole authentic source of Imam's works and ideals.
He said that one of the significant outcome of the revolution under Imam's leadership has been the boost of spirituality and religious values across the region and the other parts of the world over the past decades.
Following the footsteps of infallible Imams and the truthful successors of the holy prophet of Islam, Imam carried out great tasks and rendered great services to the divine and spiritual values.
If it were not Imam’s struggle and martyrs’ sacrifices with divine goals, millions of people would not be able to participate at Arbaeen in the holy city of Karbala in recent years, Komsari stressed.
Elsewhere in his remarks, explaining the academic and research projects of the institute, he emphasized that new technological tools along with effective medium such as art and poetry should be used to promote Imam’s dynamic ideals and works. We also have to make the best use of social media to promote Imam's ideals in accordance with the audience's intellectual level.
"Majority of our country's population is young and Imam Khomeini's divine personality should be introduced to the youth based on facts and with a true image, not with specific political tastes and intentions," he concluded by saying.
