On the occasion of the 33rd passing anniversary of the founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini , Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei will deliver a speech on Saturday.
The spiritual ceremony will start at 9.00 by recitation of Quranic verses and the praise for the holy prophet and his pure household members.
It will then continue with a welcome speech by Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic ahead of the leader's speech.
Every year, a commemoration ceremony was held in Imam Khomeini’s Mausoleum, southern Tehran in presence of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei, senior state and military officials, as well as thousands of people from different walks of life.
This year's ceremony will also be held in person in the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini after a two-year break due to the restrictions caused by the coronavirus.
