Late Habibollah Asgaroladi Recalled Memoirs on Imam and Revolution

Late Habibollah Asgaroladi, an Iranian politician and former secretary-general of the Islamic Coalition Party recalled in a collection his historically important and precious memoirs on Imam Khomeini and the Islamic Revolution.

The collection has been compiled in seven chapters and was published by Documentation Center of the Revolution and consists of memoirs by this member of Iran's Expediency Council regarding the 1950s-60s when the Islamic movement under the leadership of the great Imam Khomeini was making progress across Iran.

He describes the memoirs in very interesting way regarding the decades-long struggle which led to the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran during very tough circumstances in 1979.

The political figure also mentions in a very interesting way that how he became familiar with Imam during those years and he was deeply impressed by the great leader of the Muslim world and stood behind the revolution for years to come.

He also describes that how he became familiar with the important figures and clerics who played significant role in supporting the ongoing Islamic movement during the historic era. They also played important role in increasing Asgaroladi’s wisdom and knowledge towards Imam and his movement for the oppressed nations.

Senior Iranian politician, Habibollah Asgaroladi held several important political and economic positions and ranks following the establishment of the Islamic-democratic system under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini.

Asgaroladi died at the age of 81 due to heart failure. He had seen and experienced ups and downs and various stages of the struggle for the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
