Millions say Yes to Imam Khomeini

Millions of people in Iran and across several other parts of the world have observed International Quds Day in order to show their allegiance towards Imam Khomeini’s ideals.

Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic, designated the last Friday of the lunar fasting month of Ramadan as International Quds Day, during which Muslims across the world have held rallies in solidarity with Palestinians.

Iranians along with people in other countries marked the International Quds Day in solidarity with Palestinians against the Israeli atrocities.

Millions of people also took to the streets across the world to mark the International Quds Day in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian nation.

In Iran, people from all walks of life are taking part in the rallies in about 800 cities in Iran. The demonstrators express their support for the Palestinians against Israel’s aggression. They also call for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands.

Thousands of local and foreign journalists are covering the anti-Israeli rallies across Iran.

This is while millions of people in different countries the world also held massive rallies on Friday to express their support for the Palestinian resistance against Israel and voice their outrage at the policies of the Tel Aviv regime and its allies.

The Quds Day has become a symbol of the global condemnation of Israeli crimes against the Palestinian nation. The annual event is held on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

This year, the rallies have coincided with Israel's brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip. In many places, there have already been huge protest rallies against the airstrikes and ground invasion of Gaza that have claimed hundreds of lives.

More than 820 Palestinians have so far been killed and over 5,200 wounded since the Israeli military first launched its onslaught on the Palestinian enclave on July 8.
