According to Jamaran news agency, the central committee of Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration has published an announcement on the occasion of the 23rd demise anniversary of Imam and also the 50th anniversary of the 15 of Khordad (June 4th) divine rising.
A part of this announcement is as follows:
“By paying gratitude to the appreciative nation of Iran, along with being ready to serve the pilgrims, and commemorating each of the pilgrims of the holy shrine and inviting the people from all groups and levels of the noble nation and the scholars, academic elites, families of the martyrdoms and especially the committed youth to participate in this glorious and spiritual ceremony, hereby the official programs of this ceremony are as below:
The especial program for Saturday night, June 2nd, will be a speech by the president of Iran, Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The ceremony for the 23rd demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini, the great founder of the Islamic revolution will start at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 3rd, with the reciting of Quran and the speech of Hojatoleslam Sayyid Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of Imam Khomeini at the Martyr Ayatollah Haj Mustafa Khomeini apron, and afterwards the mourners for Imam, the beloved nation of the Islamic Iran, the pilgrims and foreign guests, and cleric, political, military and civil figures, the noble families of martyrdoms and the members of Imam Khomeini’s household will listen to the valuable sayings of Ayatollah Khamenei, the great and wise leader of the Islamic Revolution.
Also on the night of June 3rd the especial ceremony for the eve of Imam Ali (a.s.)’s birthday and the 15 Khordad rising and on the day of June 4th the especial ceremony for Imam Ali (a.s.)’s birthday and the 15 Khordad rising will be held at the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini.
