''The Greatest Heritage of Imam Was Independence and Liberty''

The Secretary General of the Italian-Arabic Society “Al- Sidaqah” in Italy, pointed to the bold character of Imam and his unique personality and said: “The greatest heritage of Imam was independence and liberty.”

Tallal Kharees, honored the name and memory of Imam and stated: “The late Imam had a unique and great personality and though he had the power to change history, but during his life he was always preventing from materialism and none of his relatives inherited power after him; he was a pious man who believed in justice and he was always besides the oppressed.”

He stated: “The IR Iran by balancing the powers and following Imam and Ayatollah Khamenei’s advices, has managed to stand against the Western oppressive.”

The Secretary General of the Italian-Arabic Society “Al- Sidaqah” in Italy said: “Imam Khomeini believed that keeping the nation’s independence and liberty should be the path of the Islamic government and this is a great heritage for us from him and there is nothing more important than freedom, justice and defending the dignity of a nation.”

He added: “Those who believe in freedom can’t use two measures; the Palestine issue for the late Imam was a symbol of fighting to reach justice and regaining the legitimate rights of a nation and country.”

He said: “Imam Khomeini’s thoughts were beyond the Islamic world and it was for all the oppressed nations of the world and not only for the Islamic world and Iran.”
