The Holy Month of Ramadan

The holy Ramadan is the ninth month of the lunar months and is the best month during a year. Ramadan is the fasting month of Muslims. Ramadan is the month of GOD, month of Quran descendant and is the most valued month during a year. In this month the gates of heaven are open and the doors to hell are closed and praying in of the Qadr nights are better than prayers in a thousand nights. Our prophet has said about the excellence and the magnificence of Ramadan in his Sha'abanieh sayings that: "O! GOD servants! The month of GOD has faced upon you with its mercy, a month which is the best month for GOD, its days are the best days, the nights are the best nights and the hours are the best hours."

A Pray by Imam Khomeini

O, God! We are weak servants.
We are servants who have nothing.
We are nothing.
If we do wrong, we are ignorant. Forgive us.
Cause us to enter this holy month, while we have secured your gratification.
O, God! Make us efficient to enter the banquet you have invited us to act the way which pleases you.
